JENSEN WIRELESS DOORBELL AND CHIME | Denmark
Jacob
Jensen (designer for Bang & Oulfson) and Timothy Jensen, 2005.
Modern design-conscious cordless doorbell and chime. Winner of numerous
awards and in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art
MOMA. The cordless doorbell consists of a Bell push and Chime offering
five different specially composed high sound quality tunes. Jacob
Jensen knocking at the door, a classic town-hall bell, a contemporary
or oriental inspired tune or a low-frequency tune, designed especially
for the hard-of-hearing. Lights on both the chime and bell push
will illuminate when the bell is rung or the batteries need changing.
Push bell is weatherproof and batteries can function in temperatures
of -4ºF to 122ºF. Chime can either be free-standing or
wall mounted. The maximum working distance is up to 222 feet. Not
recommended for mounting bell on PVC or metal door frames. It may
block or reduce the transmission range. Battery operated, so need
for an electrician to install this unit. One of only a few choices
for a sleek doorbell and chime.
New in box, complete with protective film, instruction booklet,
batteries and screws for mounting. Outside packaging (box) shows
minor marks, but not ripped.
